Tour, Tour, Tour!

A flock of Starlings will be jetting off to Belgium for our second European tour this December! Find out more about our plans in this week’s blog post!

The medieval Belgian city of Ghent will play host to 30 members of the Starling Arts choirs from December 7th - 9th. Ghent’s Christmas markets and beautiful cathedrals will host concerts, while the stunning city will be our playground as we explore, eat and sing together!

The tour will be our second, following a group trip to Paris in May 2016 where we performed across the city and at Disneyland.

The 30 performers come from within our three evening choirs, Corvida, Forte and The Starling Singers. They’ll be joining ranks to sing together, presenting a mixture of gorgeous wintery songs from stage and charts, alongside sparkly Christmas repertoire. The groups are busy rehearsing, and have some brand new material as well as some classic Starling Arts songs to entertain the crowds with. Members of the public, from local residents to visitors to Ghent, will be able to sample the choirs for free. Further details about the performances will be released in November!

The tour will follow London performances at the Ideal Home Show Christmas on Saturday 24th November and at Winter Song, our festive concert at St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico on Saturday December 1st.
